What is Granuloma Annulare?

Granuloma Annulare is a medical skin disorder which causes formation of rashes in the form of bumps that are circular in appearance. It is also known as a chronic disorder in which the affected patient experiences reddish or sometimes skin-colored bumps all over the skin. These rashes are usually bulged in appearance and are more concentrated on hands, feet, elbows and knees. Granuloma Annulare does not cause any long term damage or impact a patient’s overall health does not have any long-term impact on your overall health but the disease itself is quite severe and sticks on for a longer time period. It affects the overall look of your skin and makes it look ugly which also cause psychological problems. In severe cases where lesions are deeper they leave deeper scars which stay for about 2 years but are never permanent. Sometimes the scars need treatment but often times they vanish on their own no matter what all you try. If this syndrome in the beginning is treated well then there are absolutely no chances of scars.
