Symptoms of Actinic Keratosis

The symptoms of Actinic Keratosis that doctors look for most in order to identify this disorder and understand its level of severity include:

·         Areas of the skin that have a high sun exposure rate such as the scalp, face, hands, back, and chest have bumps and lesions that are very apparent

·         The bumps have a white, crusty, and yellow scale on the top

·         Rough surfaces  that are hard and wart-like

·         Not too visible on the skin but hard to the touch
