Symptoms of Alopecia

The following symptoms occur when a person has Alopecia:

  • Hair Loss in round or oval shaped patches
  • The affected skin has visible hair pores
  • The affected skin becomes shinny
  • Hair line on the forehead becomes Irregular or starts receding
  • The skin surrounding the stumps of hair becomes red
  • The scalp has dandruff
  • The top of the head starts losing hair in a slow and progressive manner
  • Hair growth becomes short and of a poor quality
  • The forehead becomes white
  • Hair becomes thin
  • The space between hair increases
