What is Lichen Planus?
Lichen Planus is a medical condition in which rashes are formed all over the skin and sometimes inside the mouth too. It causes massive skin eruptions and it is a syndrome well known for causing skin irritation and is recognized by polygonal shape patterns on the skin followed by fine scales and rough textures. Mucous membrane is the highly affected area and sometimes it does attack Genetalia as well. Lichen Planus usually causes discomfort and severe inflammation in the mouth or any other areas affected by this disorder. It makes the skin look rough and ugly if its on the outer side and if inside the mouth it makes it difficult for a person to eat or even drink. The rashes and abrasions formed on the skin are not sore but they are quiet infuriating and cause soreness and redness on the affected areas.
